What is the history of Haori?

The Haori is a jacket that appeared in Japan since the 16th century. Indeed, during the winter period of the sengokue era, it was excessively cold. The warriors of that time were brave soldiers who were given different missions. In order to do their job perfectly, they had to protect themselves first. To do this, the soldiers would have to completely protect themselves from the cold, because it prevented the execution of certain missions.

The civilian army then decided to create a Japanese jacket called Haori, which allowed them to not catch the cold. The suit was worn over combat armor and provided good protection. Soldiers were now able to carry out missions perfectly without any excuses. A few years later, the rich, the notables and some great personalities had understood the importance of this outfit. However, only males could wear it.
